MAURICIO CASTRO

Mauricio Castro is a musician, composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist with more than 20 years of experience in the Colombian music industry. He is the founder and drummer of Impromtus ad Mortem (Symphonic Metal) and Lemarchand (Industrial Metal, albums: Black Box (2023) and 90’s Black Rave (2025)).

With Impromtus ad Mortem, Mauricio has been involved in the albums “Infortunio” (2007), “Edén a Luz Centuria” (EP, 2010), “Renacer” (2014) and “Symphonies of the Death” (2019). His work across different musical styles has shaped his approach as both a musician and producer.

Mauricio is also the founder, owner and sound engineer of Artgot Studios in Colombia, where he works in music production, recording, mixing and sound engineering.

With Hellkern Warriors, Mauricio shapes both the rhythmic and electronic side of the band's sound, combining dynamic drums with atmospheric synthesizers while contributing mixing and production.
